Graphic Design is where my roots stem from. This is the seed of everything I do. Wether it's an interactive flash website, after effects video, web design, user interface, poster, logo, business card...ok, ok you get the point, design is in everyone of my projects and always the main focus for everything I do. My process for design always starts with strategic thinking and trying to solve a a visual problem. How can I make something a user can interact and relate with. Every project starts with a set strategy and only when I evaluate the project and solve the problem is the design process complete.

Interactive/Motion

Over the past few years I've started to really pride myself in interactive and motion design. This is anything from a Adobe Flash Website to an online After Effects Teaser. Making things bounce to a beat or interact with a user is what I love to do. Adobe Flash has been the starting point for my love for animation and have recently moved over to Adobe After Effects. Depending on the project decides which program I will open, and many times I use both. My program knowledge in flash is mostly with Action Script 2.0 and the Tweener class, but I have been slowly moving into using AS 3. Working with these areas I definatly bring my pad and pen to the table. Notes, revision, doodling, erasing...you get the point.

I've always been intrigued with designing for web. I wouldn't claim to be a deep back end programmer, but I can design and build front end websites from start to finish. Consider me a swiss army knife, I know how to work my around the web with HTML, CSS, and Wordpress. I also dabble with PHP, XML, HTML5, Java, and JQuary. Hence the graph icon at the top, I'm comfortable with more then one thing when it comes to web work...and if I'm not, I'm always trying to learn.
